We make one of the apps on this page, so read it with that in mind. Everything factual below was checked on the Shopify App Store and vendor pricing pages on August 24, 2026; prices change, and if you spot something out of date, email [email protected] and we will fix it.

Shopify admin — free, and enough for some stores
Shopify absorbed transfers, purchase orders, suppliers and stock counts from Stocky. What it explicitly did not absorb is forecasting and reorder points. If you used Stocky as a transfer-and-PO tool, stay in the admin and spend nothing. If you used the low-stock list every morning, the admin will not give you one; the official suggestion is to set min/max thresholds as metafields, which store a number but do not compute or alert.
Inventory Planner by Sage — the incumbent
The most established forecasting product in the Shopify ecosystem, and the most capable: multi-channel, bundles, assemblies, open-to-buy, warehouse-level replenishment. Pricing is by quote and scales with the size of your inventory; independent write-ups have put entry pricing well above $100/month, and its reviews include complaints about renewal increases and contract terms — check the current terms yourself before signing. Right choice if you have the catalog and the buying team to use that depth.
Fabrikatör — for DTC brands with pre-orders and bundles
Strong on bundle planning and backorders/pre-orders — features that matter to direct-to-consumer brands and matter very little to a POS retail store. Pricing starts at $99/month and steps up with revenue, plus a per-unit backorder fee. 4.8 stars from 105 reviews.
Prediko — the mid-market challenger
AI forecasting, unlimited SKUs and users on every plan, and the highest rating here (4.9 from 232 reviews). Starts at $49/month for stores under $100k annual revenue; a store doing $500k pays $119. Very good if you want a planning suite and your revenue keeps you on the lower tiers.
Inmana Restock — where we fit
We built Restock for the stores Stocky actually served: retail and small DTC shops that need reorder points, low-stock alerts and supplier purchase orders, and do not need open-to-buy planning. Things we do that the others on this list either do not do or charge more for:
- Priced by SKUs, not revenue. A busy store with 300 SKUs pays $19, however well it sells.
- Monthly, cancel inside Shopify. No annual contract, no GMV re-rating.
- Stocky import with a guided column mapper, so your supplier setup comes with you.
- POs emailed to suppliers as PDF, receiving adjusts Shopify inventory with an audit trail.
Things we honestly do not do (yet or at all):
- Bundles, kitting, assemblies, backorder/pre-order management.
- Multi-channel (Amazon, wholesale) demand — Shopify sales only.
- Anything beyond three locations below the Pro plan.
- Our forecasting is sales-velocity based with lead-time and safety-stock awareness. It is not seasonality-aware today; a research-grade forecasting tier is planned, and we will say so when it ships, not before.
- We are new. No reviews, no track record. The 14-day trial exists so you can judge that yourself.
How to choose in 30 seconds
- Only transfers and POs → Shopify admin, free.
- Bundles, pre-orders, DTC growth stage → Fabrikatör or Prediko.
- Large catalog, buying team, multi-channel → Inventory Planner.
- You used Stocky for reorder points and POs and want that back for $19–39 → Inmana Restock.
Whichever you pick, export your Stocky data first — the migration checklist covers what can and cannot be exported.
